NOVEMBER 21–This Saturday we will be leaving in the church van to feed and distribute clothing to the homeless in Detroit.  We will leave at 8:00 am and plan on being back around 6:00 pm.  If you are interested in helping in this area, please check the sign up board for needed items for the breakfast we will be providing.  This will include egg casseroles, biscuits and gravy and fruit.

There is still a need for CLEAN winter wear and clothes.  The majority of the homeless we serve here are men, so keep that in mind when donating items.  They need hats, gloves, shirts, pants and boots.  They have requested warm socks as a vital need.

We will also continue to collect personal hygiene items.  Travel size items work best to fill this need.

Please leave the donated items in the designated boxes in the foyer at church or in the trailer after October 9th.

Prayerfully consider these requests and this opportunity to serve as we move as Christ’s hands and feet.
