Sunday School

One of our core values here at Duplain is that we trust God’s Word. We believe that a trust for God’s Word is built from a young age. That’s why we focus our Sunday School program on teaching our children the truths of the Bible in an age-appropriate and creative way.

Our preschool Sunday School programming is available every Sunday at 9:30 am in the preschool classroom, located at the back of Gideon Hall.

During Sunday School, our preschoolers learn about how they fit into the special story of the Bible. Our preschool teachers and staff are devoted to engaging the kids in singing songs, playing fun games, doing crafts, and, of course, having snacks. This is open to all kids who are at least 2 years old, until they graduate into kindergarten.

Our elementary Sunday School programming takes place at 9:30 am on every Sunday morning in the West Wing.

During Sunday School, our elementary students are engaging God’s Word, digging deep into many different aspects of Scripture, such as studying entire books or taking a look at what the Bible says about specific topics or themes. Of course, there will be games, crafts, and snacks each Sunday as well.

This time is intended to get the elementary students thinking deeply about the Bible in a fun way, and they will learn what it means to be a Christian in God’s Kingdom.
